Terms of Service

This document describes how SCAN2LOG works today. It is informational, is not legal advice, and will be reviewed by a qualified professional before public commercial launch.
Acceptance
By creating an account or using SCAN2LOG you agree to these terms. SCAN2LOG is currently offered as an early-access service and functionality can change.
Your account
You are responsible for your login credentials and for activity in your account. Keep your access details private and contact us if you suspect unauthorised use.
Acceptable use
Do not use the service unlawfully, do not attempt to access other users' data, do not disrupt or overload the service or its AI functions, and do not upload malicious files or content you have no right to use.
Uploaded documents
You keep ownership of the documents and data you upload, and you grant us only the permission needed to store, process and display them for you. You confirm that you are authorised to upload each document and its personal data.
Accuracy is your responsibility
SCAN2LOG organises the information you provide. You remain responsible for reviewing, correcting and confirming records, mileage values and specifications. We do not verify documents against manufacturers, registries or workshops.
AI-generated information
AI-assisted extraction and analysis may contain errors and must be reviewed before you rely on it. Suggested values are proposals, not confirmed facts, and AI summaries describe your own recorded data only. AI usage can be subject to fair-use limits so the service stays available to everyone.
Vehicle history and reports
History reports and intelligence sections are generated from the records in your account. Missing documents mean missing history: a report shows what is documented, not a complete or certified vehicle history.
Vehicle sharing
Share links are created by you and are readable by anyone who has the link. You are responsible for deciding who receives a link, and you can revoke it at any time. We cannot recall information that a recipient has already seen, copied or forwarded.
Market-value information
Market-value functionality depends on external licensed data sources. No such provider is currently connected, so live valuation is not available. Where market or estimate figures appear they are informational, may be asking prices, and do not represent a guaranteed transaction price.
Plans and pricing
SCAN2LOG is currently free to use during early access. Premium and Pro plans shown in the app are planned and not yet purchasable; no payment, subscription or billing functionality is offered today.
Service availability
The service is provided on an as-available basis. We may add, change, limit or pause features, and we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access, particularly during early access.
Termination
You can delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms or puts the service or other users at risk.
Intellectual property
The SCAN2LOG name, interface, design and software belong to us. Your vehicle data and documents remain yours.
Third-party services
The service relies on a hosting and backend platform and on an AI gateway provider. Their availability and behaviour are outside our control.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
SCAN2LOG does not replace a professional vehicle inspection, mechanic advice, legal advice, financial advice or insurance advice. The service and its AI output are provided without warranty of accuracy or completeness. To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for decisions taken on the basis of information shown in the app, including purchase, sale, repair or valuation decisions.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service develops. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
